In some years in some courses, there are two student representatives per year. However, when voting has concluded, the applicants only know whether they themselves were successful or not, and aren't told who the other rep is. In the same way that you can see all the elected faculty reps for the next academic year, you should be able to view your year's course reps for the next year too. This would benefit both students and the two reps, as they'd be able to establish communications early.
